At some point, whether right at the beginning of leash training (if you don’t have any quiet areas nearby) or later on when you’re exploring the outdoors, you’ll need to train your cat to ride in a backpack style carrier.

• Gradual Enclosure: Once your cat is comfortable entering and exiting the backpack, start closing the zippers for short periods while they're inside. Gradually increase the duration until they're relaxed in the closed backpack.

• Short Trips: Begin with short walks around the house with your cat in the backpack. This will help them acclimate to the movement and sounds of being carried.

• Outdoor Adventures: Once your cat is comfortable in the backpack indoors, venture outdoors for short walks in quiet areas. Gradually increase the duration and explore new environments as they become more confident.
